What's my Defender worth?

I'm insuring my Defender with an agreed value policy.
The insurance Company have asked for a form of valuation from a club or forum - hence my request.
I will be printing out the responses to this thread, so please keep it clean!

What do you think it's worth?

Looking at that formidable list and taking everything into consideration I would say you're looking at about £6500.

I would reckon somewhere's between £6000.00 and £6500.00

Yep, agreed. You've put a lot of work into fitting out that motor. £6/6.5K sounds about right.

With all that stuff added i would agree with that, 6/6.5k

I am after a new defender myself at the moment. I am looking for a reasonable spec vehicle along the lines of yours. I have a budget of £5500-£6000. I am struggling to find a Clean rust free example for this money. I have found some 'rough' examples for around £5700 but the good ones tend to be around £7000.

After looking at what is around I would say yours has to be worth a min of £6000 but I would say it is more likely to fetch closer to £7000.

That is a very well specced defender, i would value it at between £6,000 and £6,500, possibly more if it is well presented.

I've been looking about in the last few months myself and was suprised how hard it is to find a good spec 200tdi defender thats not rotton,early ones are still selling for £5500 upwards which is why i'll have to stick with the rangie for a while longer i think
