Northern Pub Meet

Looking to start doing a pub meet for us northern folk somewhere between blackpool, chesterfield, donny, sheffield & leeds so if anyones up for it let me know and ill do some pub recces to find a decent place with some nice bar totty to ogle at.

iam game but dont know any pubs up that way !

thought about that one up cat & fiddle as i go up there on bike sometimes ??

not too good ! the odd one or two but it may be risky looking for more that a split second

That would be the Cat and Fiddle Inn, the road (A537) is named after the pub
Not to far from me.

Be good to get a northern pub meet going.

Yeah thats the one, i just thought it would be a larf to hook up once a month for a giggle and put faces to names as such, and naturally abuse each other face to face.

What about the Ladybower Inn inorl? Or did you peaks recce lot get banned?

no we werent barred what you trying to say. Johnlad made some friends though and some of the totty there was quite nice aswell

what about the fish pond in matlock ???

car park across from it and a good chip shop, arcades for the missis and kids ???

the thinking was give little one all my ones and twos and she will have to take him to the arcades !

and we all get some piece and quiet


oh and there the river if anyone gets too out of hand

I'm up for a pub meet .. might not come in the Disco but anywhere should be OK with enough notice. Matlock's great ... can drop the missus off at her mums (Nottingham) on the way down ..

Pub meet would be good.

Fishpond: decent pub, aracade and chippy near, so handy
The Boat House Inn on the A6 between Matlock & Matlock Bath. Decent beer, not sure bout eye candy mind.
Ladybower Inn, not been there but heard good reports.

The pubs round there involve driving on some nice roads.
Fishpond & Boat house are handy for pulling in a couple of tame green lanes in the evening too

Could do with being a little further north so it's equal distance for the guys from donny/ Blackpool to attend. Cat and fiddle looks like a decent spot and there's plenty of parking and lanes if anyone fancys doing a few I'll do a poll later so a fair choice is decided.

are range rovers welcome? or is it just for off road bods..

well as long as mine is still running i am up for it, no lanning for me to shinny..lol

I is only a couple of hours from Leeds

i'm 20 mins from leeds, or 40 in a landy i would quite like to get involved on a northern pub meet though!
