Been blead of late so that is good. Try the release the pipe thing and if pedal goes down good. Next is to remove gear tunnel and have a look at what is going on with the slave cylinder. when you get that far come back.

OK here goes RPM 250 up to 500 then starts. BATT 12.41 then14.25 after starting just checked the Batt drop while cranking and it drops to 9-10. Air flow after starting 56.7. Stewart.

The chargers on the road to Dublin were very old so no surprise they were not reliable. Chademo is a dying protocol so less effort is put into supporting it although there are still a large number of Nissan Leafs out there. There were a couple of...

I know exactly what you mean. The jackets fit really well, but the trews are a bit "higher-octave-tight". But I live in hope of the resurrection of my former self. ;) One of the jackets is a lovely dark (almost towards brown) green and it is so...

I presume it was with ignition on and engine not running then the readings are OK, now watch the rpm and battery voltage while cranking and tell how much is the airflow after it started

Got some gas bottles on the exhaust down pipe nuts, all three are off but wound out two of the studs, not to worry shall buy some new ones, when I've saved up! Fitted a downpipe from Empire, looks quite well made, shame it doesnt fit a bit...

Did I mention cheap, if I didn't maybe I should have. Can you get black stainless steel?

I'll be honest with you, people over here don't really modify their cars as it is sooo illegal. You will be breaking type spec for the model. No mech will want that hanging over them. After an accident I had a job persuading a mech to mend a...

Thanks. M10 x 1.5 haven't measured the length yet. Saw some nice titanium ones, out of stock though. Land Rover want getting on for £20 each! Thought that was a bit pricey.

I think it is the clutch pedal. We bleed the clutch system a month ago and seemed fine after that. Came back a week later and the pedal is now rock hard. Mechanical ability: game to try, little knowledge, talented Mechanic friend with no Landy...

So as it isn't too hot I have been out with the big weedwhacker/mulcher. Running better since its service. Did one tank, came in, about to go out again. I think I must be the only person for miles around cutting grass/weeds as they have all...

Have to say I am a bit jealous in that any clothes I wore before retirement and a little while after I could no longer get into, except for shirts and sweaters. Jackets would not button up and trews wouldn't get anywhere near fastening. The diff...

Arctic2, Do you know the diameters of the pipes that go into the Y connector? The reason is that if metal bands cannot be used, I am thinking of ordering spring clamps. Thank you.

You could try one of the patina oils that act like a clear coat, something like owatrol oil etc. this will keep them looking original, but stop them rusting. It is used a lot on old tractors etc to preserve the work worn look but prevent it...

My only worry with the copper grease on the studs is all torque recommendations tend to say "dry" and I know there is a lot of umming and ahhing over use of grease of any kind but IMHO the general view was they are best dry.
