Hi all, looking for help with a non start fuelling issue. Have a 1993 D1 V8i efi. Drove home fine, parked up and then tried to start next day but pump will not prime at all. With ignition on position 2, there is 10.17 Volts at the pump. Fuel pump...
Ok, i am still not sure this was a smart buy, but this old 109 came home today (always wanted One).
My first 30kms on a series, what an experience!
First things i noticed:
- speedometer and odometer dont work;
- left blinkers dont work;
- it...
Is that Scottish for "No idea how we have come to be after 3 o'clock"?
Cannot but agree with you, I'll be feeding the dogs in 3/4 of an hour and I haven't even done the dishwasher!!
On a lot of more modern cars the exterior lock is only on the passengr side as for LHD that is the driver's side!
W's Citroen is just the same, as is the bonnet lock which can only be actione by opening the passenger side door. :rolleyes:
It's possibly the heat causing the flare up. Happens with me.
Glad it's cooled down, no idea how it's the back of 3. Did the usual adult stuff and then made some jam. 😁 Now watching shinty and wondering did I accidentally play shiny instead of...
Are they factory fitted. If that's the case then the fluid likely has never been changed.
I'll see if I can peel the tabs off with a thin flathead screwdriver. The tabs are around the back which makes this a nightmare...
So you don’t use the drivers door, which I imagine thats the most common point to lock/unlock a vehicle.
So does the using of the passenger door lock set and unsets the security system ok i.e central locking?
If all things were equal, then...
Always something else with these cars 😆
Went to the garage yesterday for wheel alignment, I told them there was a slight exhaust smell in the cabin and asked them to look in to it.
They said the gaskets they used when fitting new cats for it's...
there was a TINY bit of oil in the loom, i suspect its residual from when i changed it previously and the crank sensor plug was also a little dirty somehow. had replaced the wiring there some time ago as it had become brittle and was causing all...
The range changes all the time according to how you have been driving recently.
Yessdi I went on a 3 hours drive in the wife's car, the range changed from 220 kms to 310 as I was driving most of the time in 5th gear. Previously it had only been...
Yes. I think “checked” meant that he tried really hard to get it to slip and the engine always stalled.
It feels ok to me — better than it did before the clutch replacement — so I’m happier with it now than I have been since buying the vehicle...
I would say it is pretty much impossible to physically check the clutch whilst still in the car, but as you have done a good few miles since then it should be no worries.
Sorry — didn’t think to update you.
It’s sorted now. The mechanic said the adjuster (at the master cylinder I assume) was wound right the way out and he hadn’t adjusted it when he fitted the new clutch.
My theory is that the fluid expanded in...
Hi all.
Just upgraded from my trusty 2010 Freelander 2 to a Disco Sport, mainly as it has the same engine.
Question - when I used to fill the tank of the FL, it would say a range of around 380-400 miles, but when I do the same for the DS, it only...
My 2008 freelander 2 won’t lock or unlock using the fob. I had the fob replaced (not with a lander specialist) about a year ago. A similar thing happened and they replaced the fob. I can get in manually using the passenger side with the key and...
Well I'll be jiggered. You're right about the holes; well spotted! And good idea about making any changes easily reversible.
As far as the bolts are concerned, I could order s/s bolts and just dip the heads in blue paint prior to fitting. Yeah...
