Morning All. :D
A bit of crash-bang-wallop from the skies at midnight, cool & damp now. :)
No plans ATM for today. I really did get burnt on the cycle ride yesterday. :(
Down a bit more on the diet, so I shall keep going. :)
Have a good day! :D
Having recently gone all modern and bought a 2001 D2 I’m having a senior moment with the air con controls, I’ve only been able to get it working on full blast, whilst the fan symbol on the display increases each push of the button no air comes...
Head overtemp alarm went off on the way home but needle bang on 12 o'clock. Reversed into the drive to clouds of white steam - sh1t! Radiator cracked along the top and ****ing coolant. That's a Nissens one that has been on maybe 10 years.
Thanks for the part recommendation. Looks good. I'll check the pulleys again this morning. Quick guilt thought: 3-4 weeks ago I noticed the coolant was low in the reservoir and topped up with a small amount of straight water! Since then I've...

So...gotta love the series 3 esp when it throws an issue at you. My most recent is starting. When it does start it's great, loads of power etc. But recently after driving it it sometimes (once every two weeks) turns over really slowly like its...

Bought it sept 2023, was in a poor state and falsely lead to believe it wasn’t as bad as it was. Had no recourse so just cracked on to get it a fresh MOT, roll around 1.5...
Thanks, I must admit I was on a Defender tour towards the end of production (2016?) and enjoyed it. I wish I'd ordered one of the run out models to lock away.
We'll probably book Solihull.
I wonder if someone can help - I have no issue with a car, but I noticed there is an permanent DTC from BCM about Central Configuration.
Looking at CCF sessions, I was working on GWM CCF all the time and I can see BCM has `Vehicle backup...
So what is it an alarm/immobiliser issue or super locking issue, if the latter then you in trouble as non of the doors can be opened from outside or inside without using a functioning remote.
I’ve only done one factory tour, although not recently and that was at Ford’s factory at Dagenham, so, starting with an Intro presentation then on to the engine building line, then on to the spray shop and then to the assembly line.
55 minutes...
