There are more electronic relays within it, i didnt open one to explore but as long as there is power on those pins the problem should be inside, that's in the user guide about those inputs: · BCU switch power: This is the supply voltage as...

Does anyone know of a Land Rover mechanic course in Cheshire? I’m looking to retire soon and my dream for retirement is to buy an old defender and do it up myself.

If it's for the left hand side AND you have the cd player/sub woofer, it won't fit. The right hand side is, I think, the same shape on all models.

MOT passed at lunchtime. The tester had to block one side of the exhaust with a cloth to get a good reading for the emissions. The 4.4 TDV8 emits virtually fresh air, I am going to write to the DVLA with this evidence and I expect an apology and...

I have had 3 ex mil land rovers, still got 2 of them. None of the 3 match the paints I have bought. None of the 3 are the same green as each other. If you really want a match, remove something preferably that hasn’t been too sun bleached. If the...

On my 2002 onwards they are M10 x 1.0 except 2 larger ones on the ABS which are M12. Search my thread as there are double and single flares which require SAE and DIN flare tools and you MUST use the correct nut. A double flare requires a...

Hi, the bottom edge of tailgate on my 2014 HSE is very close to the bumper when closed, so close that it can almost touch. The paint has rubbed off and started to corrode. I have it booked in next week to be treated and painted. To prevent it...

NATO no2 satin green aka Clansman green. Get a tester, paint the bumper and see how it looks. Remember you have 7 years of fade to contend with.

Hi, First you should buy an used door lock for your door, take the right version unless it will not works. Then you can figure out how it work. The outside door handle will not help you, put back the handle cable in place, but first remove...

Thanks for your reply. Mechanic isn't a fan of universal gaiters. What do you think of them? Do you know if Britpart do a gaiter for that shaft?
  • Alteredtech
Hi, The britpart driveshaft is not an OEM part, so it has nothing in common with the original. So the gaiter will not fit, you need to put a universal gaiter, your mechanic should know that. Regards

Last and only time I had a leak from a sump, it was my D1 300tdi. the sump just went porous, I have to think the inside of it was going rusty. I cannot remember if I or the mech disposed of it, I got a mech to swop it out, guess it must have been.
