So you want a fast off-road vehicle that handles well doesn’t wallow is good on fuel and low on maintenance….
Not a ‘proper 4x4’ as I don’t think that exists with the above must haves but a would a forester not cover most of it?

Just joined forum. My 2009 Freelander 2 has rusty subframes, though at advisory stage only at the moment. My otherwise excellent independent 4 x 4 place does not deal with this kind of repair/treatment and I need advice re Sussex or Kent based...
Some, not all, are open to any vehicle but must be used via the app.
Download it, then take a look - when you don’t link the app to a Tesla, it’ll show the open ones only. You can also filter a map via their website.
Progress is progress… it’s now starting.
Put some injector magic into it and give it a bit of a run-up.

So did I, but 14mpg was just completely unsustainable, and a diesel is just so slow, at least the handful of them that I drove were.
Our old one was a high spec version with air...
Yeah, there's a lot of sellers on eBay, but I just can't get over the fear of getting scammed. I just took the prop off and am considering just reconditioning myself. I have all summer to slowly get the liquids out and in.
As did I this time round but it was a few years ago when I first bought the D2
Nice of them to do, probably because its costs them roughly £250 a unit 🫣
Mines a few years old now, easier to drop it down the workshop and have it done same day...
