The L322 has 2 fuel pumps on the low pressure side. There's also the high pressure pump that pressurises fuel in the common rail to the injectors. On the low pressure side you have an in-tank pump on the RHS of the vehicle (accessible from panels...

Pump was a fairly expensive one and put new filter on but I am still aiming down the fuel side possibly filter housing next

If it fails, I think you are permitted to drive to a place of repair - eg your independent where you are taking it for them to look at the cog box. So long as it's not a dangerous fail item. (check the rools though)
