Hi All

I have got a pair of Zeniths on my V8 which need an overhaul. Couple of questions;

1. How easy are they to overhaul?

2. Is it worth switching to SU's (worked on these before and they seem pretty straightforward) If so do I need new manifolds and linkages?

3. Does anyone have a pair of Zeniths which I can buy whilst I repair mine?

That's all for now

I fitted SU's to my V8 110, a straightforward fit but I did have to fiddle the linkages as I remember, I also had it tuned by an SU specialist on a rolling road which transformed it. (I went for torque and relaxed crusing rather than all out h'power)

Did you use you existing manifold and linkages or did you use ones specific to the SU's?

Cheers

If you are intending offroading then stick to original spec carbs eg stromberg or SU , as most aftermarket carbs run into problems at severe angles .
The su will give better fuel economy, and you dont have the rubber diaphraghm problems. SU linkage is diffrent from stromberg linkage. but should be easy enough to find at breakers HTSH
