your opinions on this underside please

Hi peeps

I know its a opinion only from the pictures but can you let me know how bad this is-its from a 2001 csw i might buy, but i need to travel a few hundred miles to view it, so prior to that i thought i'd get some experienced views to help make my mind up

Bit rusty, but its hard to tell whether its surface rust or otherwise. However, on the third pic it looks like theres a crack in chassis, just next to the side step, but that could just be a trick of the lighting.

Theres my (unexperienced) views.

It looks like it may have been used to reverse a trailer into the sea.
I've seen worse but its hard to tell just from pictures.
You really need to get under it and have a good prod with a screwdriver or arrange to have it professionaly inspected.

That looks fairly rusty for it's age. Obviously from photos you can't tell but that looks as rusty as my 1990 110 in places. It does indeed look like it might have been a boat launcher. Certainly doesn't look "looked after" particularly.
