This is the company that provides the trackers and back up for the groundworking and civil engineering company I work for, AutomatricsMtrack https://www.trackersecurity.co.uk/

Posting this up as this came up in my YouTube suggestions feed and well worth a watch and they seem to have a good selection of vidjeos on the recovery of everything from Land Rovers to hydraulic breaker attachments for excavators.

Well worth a watch.

This is another one worth a watch for those who think that the trackers are easily discovered and removed.

Weird! I was looking at these just a moment ago and my search linked to @dieseldog69's post.
£129.60 for a years subscription.
The site I was browsing https://www.trackersecurity.co.uk/A...Delivery-and-VAT/p/69747030/category=12874021was dearer:
The AUTOMATRICS MTRACK 4+ PLUS SELF POWERED is going for £114 incl. VAT, + 1 year sub 182.40 = 296.40.
The AUTOMATRICS MTRACK 5 WIRED is 86.40, + 1 year sub 182.40 = 268.80.
Monthly sub 16.80 (201.60 pa) + 114 or 86.40 = 315.60 or 288 pa.
There are cheaper hi-spec tracker packages around e.g. https://www.rewiresecurity.co.uk/db2-self-install-diy-gps-tracker but one would have to notify the police and sort things oneself but this has the personal service & police liaison like Skytag.
Hmmm..has good reviews and I believe that NFU (my insurer) offers a 12.5% discount on premiums if the vehicle is fitted with an Automatrics M-Track; I'll phone and check. Works out at about £30.

I highly recommend John, especially on your mini rocket ship ;)

Christmas saw the usual break ins and site thefts across the country and I know for sure that these types of trackers are assisting in the recoveries of stolen goods and vehicles, I have moved over to the subscription service using GPS and RF technology as the tracker I had previously was GPS based only and that's fine up until you realise how easily the GPS can be blocked, RF tech gives you a much higher probability of recovery

Not to mention the premium reductions afforded by the NFU, 12.5% is a long way towards the IPT (insurance premium tax) ;)

Tah, I like that....:)
Any news on the lost rims? They'd be hard to overlook, can't just vanish....thieving so and so somewhere?

Several angry emails exchanged with TNT and all they have to say for themselves is that an investigation takes 7 to 10 days, waiting game now and I have just been looking at a set of brand new Wolf rims to run up there personally for the machining that I want done.

Ideally my rims should end up looking a bit like this.

disco flipped centres.jpg

Is that after surgery? Looks purposeful :D

These are Disco steels with the centres removed, turned around and welded back in, I wanted to have mine professionally banded out by another 2 inches as new tyres are going to be 11.5 inches wide and I wanted to match the rims to the tyres, unless by some miracle I guess that won't be happening :(

On a plus side, I did pay the extra £4.99 and insured them for £250 :D
