How do all. Been checking out an os map OL30 covering the Yorkshire Dales (north). There's two large BOATs, Cam High road and a Y shaped one called Busk lane, Gilbert lane and High lane.
Just after a bit of advice. I'm pretty new to the green laning thingy. Are these routes suitable for a novice? I don't have a winch but the landy has mud tyres and guards etc.
They're a decent drive away so want to check out peoples knowledge of them before I venture off into the wilds by myself.

Grid ref' for Cam High road is 9255 x 8950 at the most northern point to 8630 x 8535.

The other lane grid ref' 9190 x 8610 at the north west point, 9430 x 8715 at the north east point and 9430 x 8040.

Any directions to tackle them from or parts to avoid.

Cheers.

Easy lanes. Did them last November with Mad Hippos Club

hi every body in looking to start green laning but i dont have a clue! when would you be going. and what would i need to bring apart from my landy

I'm up for arranging something. I do however work shifts so not always free at weekends. Any ideas when King Karl?
NTC, I haven't been and done it propery before but I'm sure if a few of us band together we'll have most of the stuff between us. There is another feed on here about what to bring along.
Pm me and we'll see what we can get arranged.

Stick me down for it, depends on dates. I'm already up for the a Long Mynd/Shropshire outing, so after that .. but dunno when that one is yet either!.

If someone's aranging it, stick a date or a weekend up and everyone either falls in with that or we all re-arrange to suit ... ;)

I'll be doing these lanes solo, late August but I'd like to do them earlier with a group to make it more fun. So if you are still up for it you can count me in too.

I'd love to come along but it depends on when - anytime after mid September would be great!

This is why it needs to be so far away! :(
