Hi All,
Im causing some right caos on this site asking questions all the time but i'm planning on doing all the repairs on my Disco at once!
I mentioned on another thread that i had oil mist all over my Alternator etc, I have been trying to trace this with little luck, however on the underneath of the EGR Pipe there was a lot of oil, not gunk but pure oil.
I have took the pipe off the EGR and the EGR and the pipe has Oil in it, Running not Thick or residue. - Im assuming this is obviously leaking down the pipe on the outer edge and then the fan is blowing it all over that side of the engine bay.
Cut a long story short - Is the oil in this pipe due to a blocked oil breather pipe?
- Edit - I have just checked the Air Filter, Inlet Manifold for the turbo etc and there is no sign of oil in these areas!
