Looks fun! I'm new to laneing so bear with me.....

Would it be fair to say a standard disco with no snorkel would probably get away with the second and third pic's?

How do I make my front end like the silver disco's in the pics (no winch though)?

I'm starting to worry - I seem to have caught the bug! lol

Thanks for that, Anyone know if there's a cheap way to give myself a bigger clearence at the front, like those with a narrow, steel front bumper?

No prob's fabricating my own really as I'm pretty handy with a hammer, grinder and welder :D but if there's a cheap, easy solution I'd like to hear it.

nice pics mate. im off to bridgend tomorrow, may bring the map with me and try out the contour one, see if its doable with a single vehicle. wont bother if it seems too bad though, last thing i want is to be stuck with all the guys i know with decent enough vehicles to recover me over 3 hours away!

They are GREAT pics, where abouts is that. I'd love to take in a bit if that action.

Also, in the pics of the disco with the roof rack, I am wondering if anyone can tell me where to get those feet that wrap around under the gutter? Two of mine have bent and when I tighten them they just come up around the gutter.

Until I can afford a heavy duty bumper I just removed the front valence and end caps.

You can see here in a rut how that helped. If the valence wasn't removed by me, it would have been by this

; )

Thats a fair stretch from Bridgend. Can be done as a solo vehicle. managed it this time last year.

Didnt peeps voice concerns over the number of people on the organised trips. Not abiding by Glass 4-5, but maybe a dozen or so? Or am I thinking of another group?
