Year 2000 Discovery 2 V8 cut out, now no start help?

They have done a crank sensor signal test and whilst it is giving a signal it's so for out that they think that the ecu is just shutting down.
Crank sensor ordered for Monday.....fingers crossed.
 
didnt that car suffer of water ingress as to affect the interior fusebox?... i suspect that the ECU doesnt get feed, check fuse F1 interior fusebox just to rule it out also ECU earths under the battery cover

Turned out it was the crank sensor after all.
New one fitted and all back up and running again.

if it turns over and will not start it could be a crank shaft position sensor.
had two d2s let me down in this way.will start up after cooled down and run for a while and stop again.progressively gets worse and will not start at all.if it dies for no reason while driving and starts up 1/2 hour later this could be the problem.bloody german sensors and electrics lol.pay back for ww2 i guess.
