Time to get me my first Defender!

Quick Q for those that know is Autotrader the best and only place to look, or can anyone advise of any other sites / specialists that deal with this kind of things

I am based in the Berkshire area - google does not reveal much except for new car sales.

Yeh, for sale here or eBay?

however, dont go mental bidding without going to have a look first...you might be surprised how inaccurate descriptions can be..

Also take time to read on the forum about comon problems, areas prone to rust, etc...
Knowing where to look to find problems and knowing how much it cost to fix can be a good argument to bring the price down..

Good point JP.... maybe good idea to take some expert who knows what to look for :)
 
that'll be where I come in :D

like to think I know more than enough to make sure you don't end up with a lemon mate! especially as I'll be the one helping to fix it if that time comes

now stop faffing about so I can watch you get stuck :D sorry, mean help you gain some offroad driving experience
 
speak to simon @ motodrome (Motodrome) he usually has pretty good condition deependers for sale, plus he is a decent sort (for a used car dealer).
