Xmas off-roading

I'm ready for my first greenlane, does anyone have any details of a good starter track near Redditch/Studley/Alcester area please? I only have a/t tyres at the moment, so nothing too difficult please (unless you want to join me!)

I know of two Lanes both including fords roughly in-between Worcester and Evesham been down them both myself in my Disco with just AT's on, Sound any good?

Just a word of wisdom if you are a noobie noobie to the woorld of mud the first rule you need to remember is

Never off road on your own !!!!

Im pretty sure there will be a few who would advise on here.

There are a days gentle laning in and around worcester also.

Do make sure you have the right routes so you dont infringe on anyone else's land and give them more excuse for us to be shot down even more.

And learn the rules on how to off road / green lane properly

I'll PM you before sunday for you phone number and I'll meet you. It'll be easier to show you where they are than try to explain and have to come find you when you get lost. Besides as everyone on here will tell you, you shouldn't be going alone, specially if your new to it

Wanagetmuddy - I'd be interested to know which lanes your refering to around Worcester, I only know a few localy, be good to compare notes if your local too....

Im not giving anybody a hard time m8 im just stating the facts.

Ok he goes off and play and gets stuck or breaks his car that wouldnt be a nice experience would it.

Ive been laning, off roading for a long time and I still dont go out and play on my own and even the local ones.

Think about it help would be limited today.

Just think of the lady that had a disco and went on tiny crossing cos she thought she had a 4x4 she could do anything, she got swept off and f**king died.
If you dont know how to use it, youd be pretty ****ed really.


Hey Its a free country and do what you want and to be fair no one can stop you. Just be careful and know your risk !!!!


Just to give you an example my mate who is experience offroader been doing it for ten years, he went and did the local lane by us when the water was up (not flooded) with his mate and cos everything was so wet the lane had a little ridge. The ground underneath them gave way and he was stuck there for ours whiching themselve out and they were kitted out.

So yeah go and have a go !!!

Anyway I was looking forward to that trip on the end of the month I was going to tag along as it got closer, why have you had to cancel it mate????

Theres a few if you do them back to back, it take you a day to go round it.

There are now used and the locals I know try to keep away from them as they get quite mashed up but they are good lane.

Well pm me the ones you know and ill see if you got them all!

it would be good to do some lanes with you lot in worcestershire area i know a few myself.

I am still going to wales same kind of route to when you came with me last time just for 1 day this time PM me

Sounds like we should all get together and have a day out then? lets see there's 4 of us so far i know two lanes plus one over malvern way if we all know a few between us it could be a decent days fun .....

Sunday 11th is OK with me at the moment.

Dont forget i only have AT tyres, so nothing too muddy just yet please!
