You need to speak to Katie at Ace parts. I had the same problem. Mine is a D2 but also a D3 when it comes to lights. They have a reference site that tells you the correct bulb you need. Its not perfect because they sent the correct bulbs, exept the front spots which were wrong- NO PROBS i phoned and she sent the right ones free of charge.

I fitted these to my 93 200TDI LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 89-04 XENON BULBS ICE BLUE HID SET on eBay (end time 11-Oct-10 03:42:03 BST) they look great and compensate massivly for the short commings of the Disco 1 headlight units. If you have a working dim-dip unit they are noticably brighter.

I have also upgraded my tail/brake bulbs for LED's from Aceparts my son told me they are much brighter than others but because they are that much higher they don't dazzle. They are quite expensive about £15 + postage but they have a very long life expectancey, will be fitting indicators next.

I have also fitted LED number plate lights because the MOT guy said the new replacements were rubbish so fitted these and blinded him LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 89-02 LED LICENCE PLATE LIGHT BULB on eBay (end time 06-Oct-10 18:42:09 BST)

MOT man hasn't said anything about the upgrades and he's a fussy git.
