Has anyone used Wynns Turbo Cleaner, or similar on their LR?
Is it any good? Or a waste of space?
I've read of Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner being used on the Exhaust vanes, but might there be a simple way of getting it in other than disconnection of the exhaust pipe?
If anyone can add to this cleaning thread, it would be most appreciated.

I have used mr muscle at the exhaust vains only! Not on the intake wheel!
On the exhaust side it freed up a sticky variable vain unit for about 3 weeks, then it stuck again. If its lightly sooted it may help. If its heavily carboned and/or rusty, i think its a rebuild on a Variable Vain Turbo.
I have a can of that Wynns stuff, but never used it as the instructions state spray into the intake.... no thanks.
To get at my exhaust vains ( on a Toyota D4D), i drilled a hole in the cast manifold just after the exhaust out on the turbo. Filled with Mr Muscle then tapped and bolted up. Its not ideal as you only get that side of the variable vain unit. So no surprise it wasnt that effective. I replaced the turbo in the end with a cheap chinese one.

Likewise I didn’t have much success with the liquid cleaners on my Turbo VVT,
Worked better for a few weeks then stuck again, ended up replacing with a new unit from
Turbo tecnic Northampton,

I too was considering drilling into the exhaust feed-pipe, just before the turbo. Drilling & Tapping accordingly. Using Mr Muscle as in inject.
I might still do it. And if I do all I need to do is remove the plugging-bolt and inject again.
