Hi everybody just a quickie wondering what happened to fifers rangiey he must have been really ****ed off when it overheated after all that work cant believe 1 man can have so many problems with 1 car did it manage to sell
Cheers Alan

never mind, i was thinking of making up a back plate to hold one of the other ones on, so any that you can find that is the correct legnth and width would be usefull. the winter covers off the newer water heaters should fit

i know i aint got any newer type ive got an old van van i use for storage i think its got the same type on that, you could always replace the whole intake to give it a posh look :) , also you'd be surprised at the state of water pipes and what grows in em on older vans, give em a good clean/flush

bieng an ex plumber you wont believe the crud i have seen in the pipes and storage vessels that people use/installed and bathe and drink the contents of!!! if you have a cold water storage tank in the loft its a sesspit!! also never drink the bath water or water from the hot tap!!!

i thought about the upgrade kit but its a, expensive and b' different size the the hole in my van!!

you can buy the covers on fleebay: TRUMA ULTRASTORE WATER HEATER COWL GRILL COVER CARAVAN on eBay (end time 27-Sep-09 11:02:39 BST)

which covers this cowel, the bit i would need to replicate: Truma ultrastore 10L water heater horsebox, motorhome on eBay (end time 11-Sep-09 10:27:45 BST)

but is this a replacement for what i have? : CARAVAN TRUMA ULTRAFLOW FILTER HOUSING CONVERSION KIT on eBay (end time 15-Sep-09 12:43:50 BST)

u dont wanna be spending that sort of dosh, ive just set the reminder thingy on me phone so i dont forget to look :)

last s/h i sold went for £17, if ive got one u can av it for nowt... they are hard to get hold of... theres a breakers near me i'll get one from there if i aint dunno how much but it shudnt be a lot cos he knows me ;) it is just the cover u need with the slidey plastic flap?

aye just the cover, ive bid upto 20 quid, bit pricey but the pump will come in handy!!!

of course any spares will be a good idea cos there must be a reason they go missing!!

that £39.99 was a ridiculous price mustve been mad to pay that much when a brand new equivalent replacement wouldnt cost much more
