500ft above sea level this is possibly the most spectacular place to drive your vehicle. Enjoy the scenery, breathe it, enjoy it and above all one life live it!

This is the place for you to bring your Land Rover to experience stunning views across Snowdonia but above put yourself to the test and also your vehicle.

500 acres of natural forest situated high above Fairbourne and Barmouth.

Catering for all ability.

Rock climbs, Winching and axle twisters.

Stand within touching distance of Cader Idris and marvel at the view. (on a clear day of course.)

All vehicles must be road legal with tax and test. NO vehicles will be allowed to arrive on trailers.

Various sites to camp overnight, from right at the top, to more enclosed lower land.

Our first open weekend is November 9th, 10th and 11th November from 10am until 4pm.

Cost is £30 per day. including camping for the Saturday night. (Camping Friday by prior arrangement)

We were shown rocks deep in the forest that had been half split by bronze age man who used them for standing stones.
These must have been too small or not required.

It's like looking at a job half finished that took place thousands of years ago.

Quite awe inspiring.

You don't half find some cracking locations looks awesome :)

Thanks Craig.

We are doing our best, we just need the support to keep them open.

We are going out on a limb with this one as it is so far away, but having looked around the place it is definately worth a visit for the first session in November.

If it's a success then there will be more.

Everyone welcome as long as vehicles are road legal and not stolen.[/QUOTE

Excuse me? Wat is that suppose to mean? ;) where can I get direction? Or is there anybody I can meet up with and follow?

It's supposed to mean Everyone is welcome. But on condition that the vehicle they bring is road legal, meaning it has a valid tax disc and MOT and the vehicle has not been stolen for the purposes of blasting it around our course and then later set fire to it in a remote part of the forest.

If your vehicle is taxed and tested and is not pilfered then its happy days.

As the venue is in the middle of nowhere it doesn't have a post code so the nearest is LL37. But is accessible from fairbourne, Arthog and Friog on the Tywyn to Dolgellau road.

Mines fully road legal. Wouldn't dream of doing such a thing. Well I'd love to come so I shall see u there hopefully. Are u organising it?

Yes we are the organisers. We have spent the last week in negotiation to use the site.
The November weekend will be the first time the site has been used by vehicles so it is still in its natural state.

We have amazing views and if the weather is good then it will be an awesome experience to camp on the top of the mountain over looking the bay and the mountain range with some damn fine offroading thrown in.

Sounds perfect. You said about prior arrangement to camp Friday night?? Would like to camp all weekend if possible. Do u want names of people coming or how many etc??

We just need to know how many are camping on the Friday night so we can prepare and as its a big site we can manage who is on site.

If you can PM a contact name and how many tents and people that would be a great help.

I won't be able to make these dates but will in the new year. You still got the Meriden site? Would be nice to organise a LZ get together
