Freelander 1 Would you use a freelander for a Bug Out Vehicle

Yeh, and most of the zombies end up on ere. If you listen you can hear them repeating the same line over and over again. "That's not a real Landrover(dribble dribble, cough fart, arm drops off) love Defender"

I can see the logic....
No matter what happens if you prepare for Zombies, what are we saying... things that move like humans and hurt you... .well that covers many of the potential apocalypses as with nuclear/viral/bacterial/ or shortages of many kinds aligned with illness etc You will be pretty much preparing for the same, or be very close to it fending off folk as the last morals of our society fall by the wayside.

Thats a good point, if you're prepared for a zombie outbreak, then your pretty much prepared for anything

Except a Sharknado...

Sharks would get through leaky Disco alpine windows and holes in 'fender floorpans.

Or through the canvas!

I might turn mine into a bug out vehicle and put it through it's paces to see how it holds up.

maybe make a few videos and put them youtube. hopefully no sharks or zombies, but they would defo make for good entertainment!

To give it a good test run once you've finished. Drive into the Defender forum, shout "Your all a bunch of sheep sh*gging fagg*ts" sit back with a bucket of popcorn, and see how long before your dragged out and burnt at the stake.

Just had a 6M quake centered about 30KMs from here - gave us and the house a fecking good shake - but the volcano is still quiet - so the Freelander Bug Out Alert Level has only gone from code Green to Yellow!

Blimey. I'd never considered the need for a bugout vehicle before. I've just nipped out and stuck a clean pair of socks and a Mars bar in the Freelander glove box.

On a serious note, I think I had to evacuate my house I would genuinely Take a 4x4 of some description, I just think it would be more adaptable for different roles in a survival type situation

You owe it to your family! You never know when disaster will strike. A bloke on a FB fishing group I'm on took this pic from his boat as the quake struck today, its 5M of volcano cliff face falling into the sea. Yes they are houses at the top! They didn't need clean socks, they needed a change of pants.



Okelahoma had a 5.1 quake the other day that they recon could have been caused by driiling, so anyone living with 100 miles of fracking needs to stock up on Mars bars!
