haha

I thought you were posting a link to cheap garages! Round here you pay about 130 a month! I know cause I've got one I'm getting rid of. Nearly got rid of all the crap out of it.

down this way tenner a week, you'd be about 23 miles, half hour max from twickenham, do it every day meself, no problem a316/m3, simple as.
you may get similar price out sunbury and beyond, its your call, if you wanna do it.

I wouldn't pay more than £100 to £150 for it, although it is worth more in parts, lets just say it needs a chassis a new galv one from Richards Chassis is gona be around £800 ish, bulkhead looks at around the £400 mark, footwells pilers, i recon its gone set you back the best part of 3K

What's the betting he thinks its worth a lot more than £150, you find that people think these Landys are classics like Jags or something, its a project that's for sure, good luck with it

Well, I popped over but had no luck finding any of the neighbours to ask. I think a weekend would be a better bet. I know for a fact - after speaking to them some time ago - that his neighbours would love to see it gone.

After giving this some serious though I've decided not to go for it. I have neither the money nor the space for a project of this magnitude at the moment. I'd love to see it rescued before it rots away completely. So does anyone want to know where it resides?

I'll put a link on to a map.

Hi,

Its nothing special, but a useful basis for a galv chassis rebuild.

Not being a purist, I would get an estimate on the value of the registration. Then balance that value against the cost of a rebuild, remembering that the reg ain't wurt nuttin until you get an MOT.

Realistically, it will probably drop the cost of your project by a couple of hundred pounds. Not enough to make the project viable for financial reasons ....... and by the time you have finished, you will probably decide to keep the number. Doh!

I once found VC400 on a car under a pile of rubbish. Pound signs were flashing. Then I found the car had raced at Le Mans in 1929, and the garage proprietor (who didn't own the car) had a good idea of what was sitting in his corner.

Nearly 10 years on and it still hasn't surfaced. It disappeared from under the tree not long after posting on here so I hoped one of you guys got it for a rebuild.
