Freelander 2 (LR2) Would Faulty Throttle Body Cause EML to Illuminate?

Probably more time consuming than difficult.

Just want to say thanks for the help and assistance I was given.
Problem now solved by replacing the intercooler that had split. Seems I must have been unlucky as this doesn't appear to be very common when searching for people who have had the same issue.

For info total cost of repair was £250 including parts, labour VAT etc.
