Excatly as the title says
Its a 98 dse with a leaking no4 injector
I had planed to change it a the end of the month when i get payed but over the last few days its been reluctant to start
Just cranks for 10-15 seconds! once started its fine and will restart on first turn
Just wondering if these problems are related

Wouldnt thought it would need the glowplugs this week 28°c
Besides if i leave it like 2hours its a bitch to start and the rad is still warm
I was wondering if due to the leak the fuel is draining back to tank or somthing around that
hoping its not the lift pump cos there a right job to change arnt they?

It still needs glowplugs at 29C on mine when it's stood for 24 hours, but 2 hours is not long. It's easy to check the in tank pump. Have you checked the leak off pipes, is there air in the clear line from the fuel filter? Otherwise it's diagnostics as it could be a temperature sensor.

Havent checked the clear pipe will do though.
The leakoff pipes were all changed last week cos i thought thats were the fuel leak was but i then found it was still leaking at the injector although it does look like its coming from the leakoff nipple so i changed it again and it still leaks not sure if its the electricl conector or the joint between the body and the leakoff nipple
Could it let air in? and would it be enough for the lift pump to not be able to prime it?
At the moment this is more concerning than the leak!
