If the O Rings were leaking 95% sure it is condensation in the BeCM...wish i had'nt asked now
i just want to say that when i got the car the heater matrix pipes was leaking [the rubber rings ]so the drivers side carpet was wet
i will look at it tomorow and clean all the conectors .
so im ok to disconnect the battery and take the box out from under the seat
thanks for all your help please lets not argue all the info is good to me .
i will give it a go and let you all know![]()
There you have the most likely cause of your problem.wish i had'nt asked now

I would not recommend going anywhere near the printed circuit boards with compressed air, you could do untold damage. You can use a hairdrier on low heat from a distance, but take care not to get anything too hot.
You can use compressed air in the connectors although I have never found it much help.![]()
Water can get under the conformal coating and corrode tracks. Loose conformal coating will de dislodged by compressed air often taking sections of track with it. The coating has a life expectancy greater than 20 years if correctly applied. If you have some compressed air, it is handy to blast out liquid between small parts. The PCBs are supposed to be coated in a water proof material, although the quality of which I couldn't comment on (I suspect it degrades over time).
If possible don't balance the boards on something either, they will warp. Keep them on a flat surface while drying.
You suit yourself, I've been designing and repairing the stuff for 50 years, I've seen the damage that can be done with compressed air even in experienced hands.I've been cleaning PCBs with compressed air for years without any issues. Well, tell a lie, I once had a heat sink come off because the double-sided tape had turned to dust. But otherwise, no drama.

The boards are good quality resin glass and unlikely to warp but are best not removed from the box unless you have some electrical/electronic knowledge.![]()
too hot an hair dryer can have Disastrous effects too, I would of thought the most sensible would be take the top off and put it in the oven .... I'm mean airing Cupboard and let nature take its coarse no stripping =You suit yourself, I've been designing and repairing the stuff for 50 years, I've seen the damage that can be done with compressed air even in experienced hands.
I try to suggest a course of action that is unlikely to make a bad situation worse for someone with little or no experience
Wit compresses air, you rip bits off the board when the coating lifts, destroy electrolytics, chokes and other upstanding fragile components.
my key remote dosent work i only have a normal key
So if you had read what I said, I suggested the airing cupboard and in response to the compressed air suggestion I said that a hairdryer could be used on a low setting from a distance. I did not make the fecking stupid comment of putting it in the oven as you did which you clearly thought was funny.too hot an hair dryer can have Disastrous effects too, I would of thought the most sensible would be take the top off and put it in the oven ....
