Hi there iv been in here for a year or two and have recently gone back to a jib I left few years back....
My new/old job is in prob the biggest salvage yard in the UK.although it has a reputation of being expensive I have found they are trying to rectify this reputation they have and a lot of stuff is coming down.
I'm thinking of approaching my boss about trying to sort a discount for members on this forum, it has been tried before via other forums as there was people expecting things for next to nothing. My aim will not to be "giving" stuff away but to help my fellow landy owners track down the parts they need!
Although I'm currently working on my 2nd disco (1st one was robbed) my knowledge isn't the best on them yet.
If all goes to plan I'd like to come to an arrangement with ny work and the admin on here to sort a link/group out and work together!
There's some good parts getting crushed which is breaking my heart watching them get bailed!
Maybe we could even do group buys I.e say if 10 people are lookiing for a r380 gearbox I'm sure ten could be bought at a better rate then each person individually.
