hi rangie fans !
with summer coming up i will be taking out the caravan very soon glad i never went eastertime crap weather.
anyway i notice the clutch is getting very near the top of the pedal and is trying to slip under full power so got to be looking at replacing it befor getting the van on the back as it is a 26ft 1750 kg van and with it fully loaded i think i will end up in the **** a hundred mile or so down the road.
anyway with the holiday so near i am looking for the cheapest full heavy duty clutch change i can get. as i will be dipping into holiday money so if anyone has a new one spare they want to sell on will proberley do the thrust bearing aswell while it is out. so if any body has any sugestions give us a shout including you vengeful Elephant but not in my ear they are a bit more delicate then yours LOL.:welcome2:.
any info will be gladly appreciated.
thanks !
ps it is a rangerover p38 turbo diesel 2.5 bmw motor.

i detect a note of sarcasm, i only looked on dls and ebay and paddocks but they were only the standard stuff, as you want h/duty i would give em a ring

i was joking, calm down son!! i dont remember sending you linx, did i?

if you want a decent heavy duty one call kestrel transmissions in s****horpe, they make kevlar ones to order. i had one made for mine when the new borg beck one i fitted started slipping straight after i had it mapped, the clutch kit and flywheel grind cost me 350 quid. ive had mine in for around 3 years now and its still good as new, it gets some hammer and tows heavy loads as well.
