Window Channel Fillers for Lift Up Handle Doors

Hi,
I am in the process of rebuilding the front doors for a 1986 LR90 with the lift up style handles.

I have the felt window liner and shims, but do i also need the plastic filler channel as well?

If anyone has any photos of how it all fits in as well it would much appreciated!
