There should be a law against people who do that kind of thing to a
defenseless RR.

I bet I could get lottery funding to establish a new "Range Rover 
Rescue" where old Range Rovers could be given a decent place to live
without undergoing this sort of humiliation and degradation. I'd
register it as a charity and spend all my time undoing the great harm
that these sick and twisted people do to such a beautiful and
defenceless creatures. After they had been nursed back to health I would
pass them on to new owners, after those owners had been vetted for
suitability and proved that they were suitable custodians for such a
vehicle.

however, there's little justification for pulling out unless it turns out to
be a rotbox or something. It's described in some detail and has several
pictures, and if you don't like the look there's no need to bid.

I suspect it may be mechanically shagged, or something that he's not letting
on.

The great thing is about this, is that the bloke must be checking his
ebay page counter and thinking that he must be on to winner because of
all the people that have looked at it. If only he knew that it was
because everyone in alt.fan.landrover were looking at it and
sniggering......!

Take look at the comments section - someone is prepared to pay a haulier to
take it to the other end of the country! am I missing something?

mind you if it was put in container you'd have all the bits that'll fall off
when you take the technical braking device away(the brick!) and move it!
