Make sure you have AA/RAC recovery, you will need it.
I
must second this. I've called them no less than 10 times, especially when i had that spat of dead battery every morning. or the time when i had a flat tyre (and the air susp was inactive at the time.)
A note about the air suspension, I got the LR supplied jack out to change the wheel & it wasn't having any of it, i'm sure there's a proceedure, locking it on lowest setting (RAC guy said highest this made no sense?, stupid p38 owner

) (by pressing the button on the height selector at desired height) and jacking it, i could be wrong
So he patched it and we drove home (sidewall puncture, eek) when i went to get the tyres done (£1,200 < do this sooner rather than later)
At the tyre place they lifted the car up and up and up until the suspension could extend no more. Saint.V8 had told me that this would be the case but
**** me has anyone ever seen how high this is? (again my air susp was inactive) they did the tyres & the car didn't lower again, i had to (and i'm 6ft 4) actually climb up to the car < no this really isn't a joke.. i felt like i was climbing a wall. it went down after.
Blasted air suspension problems could've killed me.
Is it just me or as soon as ANYONE ever buys an L322 the air susp goes inactive within a damn week, why is that? i bought two L322's this year & both did within a week.
after all the cost & problems, Easily the best cars i've ever owned, you're going to love it the most when a "chav" comes up alongside in some silly little piece of ****e, these are some of the best memories i have,
Or as another member pointed out, how smug you can be in the snow even with stock tyres...
This is a bit of a long winded post, wasn't meant to be sorry. but these cars are awesome & just adding my two cents about RAC cover..
