Wooden defender accessories

Hi everyone,
Just wondering what people's thoughts are on wooden accessories, I've recently made gear and diff knobs for my td5 and also door handles.
This week I'm going to look at making a wooden dash panel and cubby box to match.
I've added a picture of some of the handles and gear knobs, I'd be interested to jear people's thoughts on them.

Not his particular set, but if you have a wooden landrover that you would like some handles for, feel free to let me know.

I've got a range rover with stick on wood effect trim

Todays challenge was a solid oak dash top for td5 models.

I wonder if that is verging on chopped meat. Are you thinking of selling these things at any stage, by chance?

Whilst I applaud the craftsmanship, I don't understand why you would fit a wooden dash? It looks really good by the way!!

Much heavier than the plastic effort, landys always need a bit of extra weight

But remember it’s damp in a proper. Landy
& it’s another thing that will rot.

another reason I don’t have wood . is the dog would have a field day inside on the e gearstick

Woodworm would be a new attack vector

Woodworm wouldn’t be seen dead in a tractor

Ooh the smell of creasote & vinyl

Get the 1 with heat treated marks on it for better protection

Mines is blue so id be looking for a blue circle cement pallet.

The handles look nice did you knock the nobs of yer granny's old wardrobe

It's supposed to be a crash pad incase you head butt it in a prang.
Oak isn't very forgiving.

Cor u bois are hitting him hard

the work your doing looks great but most on this forum use a Landy for what ther meant for and polished wood won’t last long, from the tights seals of the doors to the dogs jaws
