Wont start after standing for a day

P38 4.0 SE - purchased a new battery (120ah - 1000A) in October. Also fitted new spark plugs and leads in November. Over December and January if I do not run the car at least 20+ miles every day then it will not start ad I have to jump it. Is this just normal or could I have a problem? Voltage measured across battery when NOT starting 11.05 volts.

Probably RF receiver draining battery. I've disconnected mine but need to buy the uprated one at some point. £200 though!

Battery Volts don't sound right either sure it should be higher. One of the other more knowledgeable members on here might correct that though.
+one on the RF receiver a must, sorts out a range of problems.

Alternator or battery fooked then. should be at least 12.5v Alt should be putting out 14.5V Approx. and shouldn't drop when everything is turned on lights demisters aircon etc etc.

14.2 is the most you will ever see from any Range rover, other than a 4.6 fitted with the 150 AMP alternator which has an up rated to 14.5 volts regulator. Think he needs the battery shunt testing. It maybe new but it maybe duff. After that is proved ok look for other things.

Watched led behind P symbol for over five minutes and it never went out. So I will be disconnecting the aerial and hopefully this will cure the problem.

Having spent many sad nights, in the dark, in the garage waiting for the P light to go off, just change the RF unit...................helps aid restfull sleep

No worries, although you will need to replace the receiver at some point. I'm going to bite the bullet soon but it's an expensive piece of plastic!
