Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with an intermittent problem that I have with my Td5 air suspension please? It is intermittently raising to maximum height on one side, the other side doesn't seem to be moving at all. Thanks

Ah the dreaded air suspension !!!!

They are very troublesome and can let you down a lot.
Got fed up with mine sitting it's ass on the floor. So converted
Back to coil spring £60 for the kit cheaper than any repair on the air suspension and won't let you down.

Sounds like one of the sensors has given up the ghost, they live between the rear trailing arms and the chassis.

Best get diags on it to check that the readings are within range, would expect it to be showing low if it's continually filling the bag.

Failing that the valve block may be nadgered, or a combination.

Usually not hard to fix and not too costly with used parts.

Replacement bags are the most expensive bits.

Hi
If you need the valve block and levelling sensor let me know
I have them on ebay at min but would sell them to you at a v low price with you being a landyzone member.
Put personally I would convert back to coil springs for reliability.

Thanks. Is this all linked?

No - Do you have any warning lights on the dash?

SLS - Self levelling Suspension, works on the back axle and adjusts the more or less weight over the back axle.

ACE - Active Corner enhancement kicks in when cornering to give you a smoother ride.

Sounds like you have a leak from the ACE block where the pipes met. Block is attached to the chassis rail underneath the drivers side front door.
Can be a nightmare to sort. Loads of info on here.

Hi
ACE system is not linked to Air suspension.
And I know I seem negative: confused::confused: but ACE
Is another problematic system as these vehicles get older.
Mine has had the pump removed and a idler pully fitted.
Still has the original anti roll bars and the mot is due next month I'm hoping that won't be an issue as it drives ok ie no excessive
Body roll.
