Which one is it

rear most but look at both to ensure they are both clear and not obstructed at the nut end

Last time I looked they were about 30 quid each. I would have thought most could afford that.

Crack the top banjo, pump gently on the lift pump, and look for bubbles. Or you can cut the fuel line after the lift pump, and insert a piece of clear tubing to look for bubbles in the fuel.
Bleeding the fuel systems is an art. I assume you are using a quality filter, Delphi are best, and that you have got all the four sealing rings in the right places, they are all different ?

Hi there, I’ve been working away so not had chance to touch it for a couple of weeks, if I crack the top banjo either whilst turning the engine over or pumping the lift pump I seem to get loads of air bubbles in the pipe, is that right or is it just drawing it in cos I’ve undone the banjo ??

No. It will be pulling in air on the negative pressure side of the system. Read the thread again, and follow the suggestions to diagnose the fault.

The air you are seeing in the pipe will be coming through the filter from a leak in the pipe from the tank to the lift pump.

Hey up guys
So after a faulty starter motor and s dead battery I managed to get back to it today checked all the pipes even on top of tank and all seem good, so persisted with bleeding on top of filter and on pump, it was still cutting out, finally at the end I noticed that on top of the injector nearest the bulkhead where the return pipe connects on it was weeping so I took it off and found it had a split in the washer, so I replaced them both and tried again but battery dead again now so can’t till tomorrow morning but could that be where the air was getting in ??

I put a motorbike style tap just above the tank to isolate a Teed off heater feed. Unbeknownst to me it started sucking air in and the Land Rover had all the symptoms you describe. I ended up replacing most of the fuel lines with clear PVC pipe (the one with the reinforced mesh in it) until I could trace the air. Took me yonks to find the sod.
