lol grimmer

just general car work and other things altho i have found a compressor thats 14cfm wolf make again but also double the ltr tank

Other than spraying you can manage without a compressor, as I did for 12 years. There are electrical or human powered alternatives to all air tools. Having said that, I got a compressor in July and don't know how I did without it. I'd say persevere and save for something you will have confidence in.

Yeah I'd go with 50ltr minimum anyway. From a quick search it seems that for light/general stuff they are ok, some people have had problems with parts breaking (one guy on first use) and getting a replacement. Also they are a re-badged version of what Lidl and Aldi sell at silly cheap prices and come with a 3 year guarantee, so might be worth holding out till they get another batch in.

the mrs is going to buy me one xmas time and as i say we are on a bit of a budget but the 2nd link i listed is double the size and 14cfm

Lidl no longer have them on the website unfortunately but I'm positive the stores still have them in. I don't think the larger one was that expensive, possibly one about 130 with the small one being under 100 quid. The large one had a 50 litre tank too

Still got them near me, maybe wrong on the price, they are very good from what I've read:)

Go on their website or phone them, mine's an IR 250L used and has never let me down. Good Luck Pal.
