i have been thinking of buying one of these for a while, probably one from the 90s with a 300tdi in it. They look to have a bit more heavy duty parts about them and a nice internal roll cage. The price seems to vary quite a bit on them, I saw a winterised one which had a heater in the back and what looked like a heavy duty soft top are these worth more money than a standard one. I am in Hampshire and would like to find one around this area if possible if any one knows any one. Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks.

It’s worth reading up on them first. They were all manufactured between 1996 and 1998. Under the skin there are a lot of differences to a civilian Landrover, 24v electrics, reinforced chassis and body, updated axles and suspension. They also won’t have luxuries like a radio, carpets etc. Winterised and Wader ones may have a lot of rust.

Check out P.A.Blanchard, Brightwells have the contract to dispose then direct from the military

Thanks, never thought about more rust on a winterised one, I will have a look at the dealers.

It is worth bearing in mind that may of the earlier Wolf releases were due to accident damage etc. Worth having a close look at anything you are thinking of buying.
