when driving at around 50mph the car starts wobbling I have 22" wheels and 30mm profile tyers and aanyone got any ideas as what could cause this it is a P38 4.6 Vogue.

had this on my disco last week!! have you been off road lately? mine turned out to be the inners of the wheels coated in mud-in-balancing the tyres-nice and easy fix if it is

Rangeys have nice soft floaty type suspension, part of the initial shock absorber system is the flex in the tyre wall, at 30 mm tyre profile I suspect this maybe just a bit to small.....but I'd get the wheels balanced perfectly before going any further....now't like a standard spec vehicle..."Chaved" well each to his own...

PS. If you still have the original wheels refit them and see if the problem is cured.

are your wheels intended for the P38 or for a later Rangey, if they were designed for a later model then you will need sigot rings to corectly centre the wheel, this could be the cause of your wobble.
