Got the landy test on Friday....

Done all the fail sheet [long list] and also all the advisories....

The engine still smokes , but it passed the emissions 4 week ago....

I did drop the desiel [lol] and tried it in another vehicle and it ran underpowered and misfired.....

I wonder if he put something innit....

put some veggie oil in it so you got a 5/50 mix, that will drop the emmisions

and take it for a good long blast just before the test

Moved forwards to today....

2pm .....

I also pick my tax exempt one up and Saturday...

Good thing I have picked up a bit of experience doing hubs seals etc.....The SWB should be a doddle.....

It need a battery , I have seen one for £40 plus vat is that about right?

Do a search on here for 'which battery' or something similar, it's a topic that's been covered in depth a few times.

Depends on what you want from it basically. I'd always advise to buy the best battery you can afford, espesh' if it's a diesel you trying to spin.

you are better off with a 72ah battery, escpecially as we are in the middle of winter

I went to pick my tax exempt one up and tow it home....

And broke down....

Then my tax exempt one blew the radiator whilst towing the good van up a vey steep hill....

So carried on with just the tax exempt one, then it went pop.....Oil over bonnet...

Got them both home and turned the taxexempt [2a] bottom bearing all seamed good.....And she started... But I could`nt stop her with the keys in my hand...

I need to buy a manual....

Before I wreck them both...
