Hi all

I now have millie, my ex military 90 and I am ready to start tinkering! First few things I want to do:

Install a radio, internal light and if possible a reversing light?

So, has anyone got any advice, warnings, experience, tips etc?

Very little experience with wiring so the plainer the answers the better please :)

P.s. there is already a small light on the passenger side dash, possibility of wiring from that? I will add some pictures tomorrow in the cold or currently wet light of day!

You can take the wires from the small dash light to feed your new interior light...simple.
The radio live supply needs to come from a switched feed in the main ignition harness, make sure to put a fuse in the live line (should come with your radio wiring) If you look behind the dash binnacle, you will see some spare pick up points that are switched.
The wiring for the reversing lights should already be installed in the main harness; you need to check the switch on the gear selector, make sure it is installed then wire from there. My 1986 Military 90 had all the wires available in the harness to hitch to. Best buy a Haynes manual with the wiring diagrams which will giude you.
