Hi all,

I've fitted heated seats to my Defender 300tdi, I've routed all the wiring and have an issue with the fuse box. The four spare slots seem to have no power going to them? Any idea why this would be?
Also, if this is the case, what do I wire the switch to? The main liv goes to the battery.
Thanks

12V from the battery, through a fuse to a relay (fuse not shown below)
The 'light switch' is the on/off for your heated seats. The 'Light' is your heated seat.
Here's a relay with a built in fuse use a fuse for each seat. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112432172406

there should be a set of capped lives behind the dash centre on a 300tdi loom. I know as I have just fitted a new one to my rebuild. you could dig one of these out and feed it down to the ancillary spaces to give you power to them for a fuse and then follow @miktdish relay wiring diagram above. The purple ones in the pic below which site behind the centre panel above the fuse box.
