Wiring a CD player

Hi,

I have a 1989 land rover 90 and id like something to drown out the converted 200tdi. As much as i love the sound of the engine long journeys can become a little monotonus.

So for the power can i just take a direct line from the battery positive? i would put in a fuse etc for safety.

Then for the negative, just attach that to the body somewhere?

Also i know this will vary for CD players but what size of fuse would be best?

yes you can take a positive feed from the battery with an inline fuse, thats what i did. Just have to remember to turn it off though. Should say in the installation manual what fuse to use

would be better to take it from the ignition feed so it turns off when you take the keys out
