My cd player keeps playing up, says no disc when there is, stripped it down twice in my 3 years of ownership and it works again even though I can see nowt wrong through my untrained eye and I haven't adjusted anything. Got a good , apparently, used one and it makes whirry noises when plugged in and the no cd message is displayed which I now know is true but the cassette wouldn't eject.
A Google search came up with a short video in some Asian language.
He holds the eject button down and gives a sharp tap to the front of the cassette and out it pops. I used a small ball pein hammer.
Replacement player is working so far.
