Wires in the carpet trim boot?? What For?

Ok as you know been checking out the boot floor...not the best job in the world but its done and would be way to much hasstle to remove and do again..
However....the plastic carpet trim that runs at edge of rear door has wires in it...as stood at the back they run from right to left but go nowhere...
What they for??

Does have tow bar and electrics...there are only 4 wires....two pairs with spade connectors on the ends...can't find what for...thought speakers at 1st but they all work?
