Wires from fuse box to shelf area

Ok, so the last couple of days I have been fitting an alarm immobilizer:

How does everyone get wires from the fuse box area to the area under the stereo?

I have switches for the dual tank, and a couple of alarm bits I need to locate up there

I feed through a thick piece of copper earth wire (from cooker mains cable), tape the wire i want to pull through to the end, and then slowly pull back

If there's more space, i do the same but with 1.5mm domestic lighting cable

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be any space free in the bunch of cables that runs up.

Just been out and managed to get the cables to fit in the existing route, so thanks for your help SH.
