Hi guys bit of a random fault here, when I am driving an hit a certain RPM (Not much above idle but I don't have a rev counter so unsure san about 15-20mph in 3rd gear) my wipers are coming on and not turning off. They are coming on as if the swith is on the first setting going up the way but speed up when you go to the fastest setting. When they are on my screenwash no longer works but when I slow down everything returns back to normal.
It's a 1990 Defender 90 with original 200tdi engine fitted.
I replaced the wiper motor and park switch a few month ago so I'm kind of ruling that out.
Only thing that's changed is that the chassis had a bit of welding yesterday and am unsure if the battery was disconnected but everything else seems to be working as normal (Lights, CD player, winches etc).
Is this sounding like a switch problem or possibly a relay fault?
