Wiper sweep issues ! !

Hello everyone.
Can anyone help me with my wipers on a 1995 110 CSW pkease.

They switch on fine maybe a slight clonk when they set off from park.
The issue is the sweep is always changing?
sometimes they stop at the bottom of the screen and other times they don't.
sometimes they catch the screen rubber they don't.
They also don't always meet in the middle so I get a section in the middle that I
can't see through - which I'm guessing is dangerous !

Is it the links or motor or something else

Could be the spindles, have a close look and see if anything wobbles

take the wiper arms off and see if the splined piece is loose on the shaft. there should be a grub screw that can be tightened but will probably have worn to much as mine did. I just welded them up and put the wiper arms back on, they work a treat now

Or you could buy new splined adapters for a quid each

Or if you are short of cash, cut a strip off an empty beer can, wrap it round the worn splines on the spindle, then **** the arm back on in the right place.

No problems!
