Defender 300 TDI 1995.

After a heavy snowfall ( strange as I am in Southern Spain ) I stupidly attempted to clear the windscreen with the front wipers. They jammed. Now the wipers don't park, and all the speed settings just operate at the same normal speed.

What have I done ????

Thanks in advance,

Dave

It sounds like your wiper park switch is goosed. Rather than replace the whole motor assembly you can replace just the switch. The chances are it was already on the way out and the extra strain just finished the job. I don't know who you use for parts but over here the last time I got one they were about £10 on ebay and around £25 from landrover parts suppliers.
