E Marked doesnt make them legal, MOT still doesnt make them legal, you might want to check that, its not even a ''grey area'' as some might insinuate, regs dont have Grey areas if you actually read them correctly. Do a search on here, you could even use my name in the search, I did discuss this before and linked to the appropriate documentation. It might be worth reading if you are going to fit these, if you do, you could drive all day long without ever being pulled up on it, have an accident, other person claims they were startled because of your lights, insurance investigator will pull you up on it. Depending on the severity of the accident you could well end up in prison.

And I just can not believe anyone would spend £400 on non road legal headlamps that may well result in your insurance being invalid.

Does anyone actually read the content of the posts? I'm not writing it all out again for a third time.

Anyway the WIPAC lights are pretty damn good, beam pattern is good, light colour is good, halo is good. hopefully the lifetime will be good too.

Yes, you cant get your LED lights to work, you have an MOT and you might have to fit the old lamps instead. If it were me I would just fit some halogens, clean all the electrics up, make sure I had 12+ volts at the lights and enjoy a very decent and legal lighting system.

Eurocarparts sell the reflectors for 8 quid a pop, a couple of bulbs are a tenner, factor in another tenner for bits to make all the electrical bits good and you have a decent set of lights for around 40 quid.

The cheap ebay ones were almost certainly not legal, as the poor pattern showed. There are many out there with fake ‘E’ markings. However the OP has removed these units.

Chances are the Wipac ones are properly marked and legal so all should be well.
