Been a long Sunday and I've spent it trying to fix my bloody mirrors. They flop all over the place back and forth and I've decided is time to sort them.
I got the kit with the bells and cogs off eBay.

Now I managed to kinda mend the passenger mirror but when you press the power mirror button it goes from folded to unfolded back to folded! That's no good. The other mirror just doesn't want to move and clicks about.

Now are the mirrors somehow synchronised since they are many many wires in them? Please help before I rip them off :)

Cant help but kind of in the same boat same year l322 drivers all floppy so fitted s/h of the bay it folds then out out again but at least not blowing in the wind any more, left clicking away merrily but no move !

As an after thought have you had a look at the micro switch make sure the arm not fell off ?

I think this is what's causing the driver's side of mine to go back and forth. The passenger side looks like it needs one of the rebuild kits, just need to decide which one.

I got it worked out. So the fixed passenger works perfect. As I operate the mirrors and press the microswitch at the correct time the other mirror stays open which is good news. The passenger mirror now is SOLID which is good. All is left is the drivers mirror and I will have a set of perfect mirrors! Once they work they will go to get colour coded.

Which kit did you go for of you don't mind me asking?

Best,
